2026 – 2027 JLM President, Shannon Harris

Shannon Harris is honored to serve as President of the Junior League of Mobile and is deeply committed to the League’s mission of developing women leaders and strengthening the community through meaningful service. Throughout her time in JLM, Shannon has valued the friendships, leadership opportunities, and shared commitment to service that make the League so special.

Shannon holds a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree and is a nurse practitioner. Professionally, she serves as an Associate Professor and DNP FNP Track Coordinator at the University of South Alabama College of Nursing, where she teaches and mentors future nurse practitioners. Her work in nursing education, community health, and leadership has shaped her passion for empowering others and creating opportunities for growth.

As President, Shannon hopes to be bold, lead with intention, and increase community awareness of the meaningful work JLM does throughout Mobile. She is excited to continue building a League where every member feels welcomed, valued, and inspired to use her strengths to make a lasting impact in the community. Shannon believes this year is an opportunity to celebrate the incredible work already happening within JLM while also looking for new and meaningful ways to serve. She looks forward to supporting members, strengthening community partnerships, and helping the League continue to grow with purpose, connection, and heart.
