Hall of Wreaths

Dear Friends of Junior League of Mobile,

As a friend of Junior League of Mobile (JLM), you are invited to participate in the Hall of Wreaths during the 31th Annual Christmas Jubilee. Now in its tenth year, the Hall of Wreaths continues to grow in popularity every year. The wreaths are designed and donated by local agencies, merchants, schools, and JLM members and auctioned at Christmas Jubilee. The proceeds from the auction help JLM make a difference in our impact area of Healthy Children: Hunger Nutrition and Fitness.

This year, Christmas Jubilee will be held Nov. 11 – 14 downtown at the Mobile Convention Center. The Hall of Wreaths is located in the main exhibit hall with an estimated 15,000 shoppers passing through and viewing the wreaths as they enter and leave the market.

For the eighth year in a row, JLM will dedicate a special section of the Hall of Wreaths area to highlight the talented artists in our local schools. Additionally, we are excited to announce we will once again hold a school wreath competition sponsored by Urgent Care by the Bay.

The winners will be awarded gift certificates to be used for art supplies. The winners will be awarded as follows:

  • 1st place $400
  • 2nd place $300
  • 3rd place $200
  • People’s choice $100

To participate in the school wreath competition, please note the following guidelines:

  • Wreath should be representative of the students’ creativity. There are no established themes or size limitations.
  • Wreaths must be artificial and suitable for hanging on an exterior door or inside the home.
  • Participants must include: school name, sponsoring teacher’s name and contact information, suggested wreath title
  • Wreaths must be received at JLM Headquarters, located at 57 North Sage Avenue, or we can arrange for pick up by Nov. 6 at noon.

If you are interested in participating or have any additional questions, please do not hesitate to contact me at (251)366-9075 or by email.

Thank you in advance for your support of JLM. Together, we will continue to make strides in bettering our Mobile and Baldwin county communities.
